Job summary

Cogent Analytics is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles to manufacturer and company standards. You will act as the technical expert in the shop, providing accurate inspections, quality workmanship, and professional recommendations that support customer safety and profitability.

You will perform inspections, identify issues, and complete maintenance services such as brakes, tires, alignments, and oil changes.

Qualifications

• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic testing.
• Identify mechanical, electrical, drivability, and performance issues.
• Diagnose root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Complete maintenance services including brakes, tires, alignments, oil changes, suspension, batteries, and other vehicle systems.
• Verify repairs through testing and quality control procedures.
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly to Service Advisors.
• Support customer safety and preventative maintenance programs.
• Assist in maximizing vehicle reliability and customer satisfaction.
