Job summary

Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers is seeking an Automotive Technician to perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks. You will inspect vehicles, diagnose issues, and ensure high-quality service for customers at our Orange Beach location.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in automotive service, possess Technician Tools, and can pass a background check. ASE certification is a plus; weekend availability is a must in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ automotive service or engine diagnostic experience in a professional setting.
• ASE Certification preferred but not required.
• Must have Technician Tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to operate and drive vehicles and pass a pre-employment background screen.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; able to work Saturdays and/or Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge and perform maintenance and repairs.
• Provide high-quality service to customers and diagnose issues.
• Inspect, replace and repair defective parts; perform preventative maintenance.
• Continuously learn new automotive techniques and stay updated on technology.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; follow safety standards.
• Work under store/service managers and uphold company policies and values.
