Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive training preferred.
• Minimum one year related experience preferred.
• ASE or other relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify needs and safety concerns.
• Complete repairs and maintenance tasks including engine and brake work.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and manuals to troubleshoot problems.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specs and safety standards.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and diagnose residual issues.
• Explain repair recommendations and provide estimates to customers.
• Mentor junior technicians and support store management in workflow.
