Job summary

KBR is seeking an Automotive Worker (Contingency) to support TACOM-managed vehicles and equipment. The role involves hands-on maintenance, repair actions, inspections, and readiness activities to minimize downtime and ensure safe, compliant sustainment operations.

Responsibilities include disassembly, repair, and reassembly of components, tool handling, and adherence to safety and environmental guidelines. Position is contingent upon award and may require shifts or overtime as mission needs

Qualifications

Must be able to read and write English and follow shop instructions.
Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance for access to sensitive systems.
U.S. citizenship is required by program requirements.

Responsibilities

Assist in disassembly, repair, and overhaul of major vehicle components.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on TACOM-managed vehicles and equipment.
Use hand tools to remove and install assemblies and parts.
Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials and waste per guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.
Report accidents or spills immediately to supervision.
