Job summary

KBR seeks an Electronics Maintenance Technician (Contingency) to support TACOM operations. The role covers general maintenance, repair, and logistics support for facilities and equipment, including basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical tasks.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years’ related experience, valid driver’s license, and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance. Position contingent on award and mission needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; supplemental technical or vocational training preferred.
• Typically 2–4 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities support, or related work.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate government or commercial vehicles.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance trades (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical).
• Ability to perform general labor and maintenance tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks including minor repairs to facilities, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and upkeep of buildings, work sites, and equipment.
• Operate motor vehicles to transport materials, tools, equipment, and personnel.
• Load, unload, and move materials to support maintenance and logistics operations.
• Perform inspections of work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in proper working condition.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
• Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and vehicle use as required.
• Support facility upkeep including cleaning, painting, and general labor tasks.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance personnel on work assignments.
• Support inspections, audits, and government reviews as required.
