The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Selected candidates may be eligible for benefits including: medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, and tire discounts.

As an Automotive Technician, Goodyear offers:

As an Automotive Technician at one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers, you will:

• Professionally inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services, delivering excellent guest experiences
• Mentor and learn about new automotive technologies in a rapidly changing industry
• Work effectively in a team environment

What Our Automotive Technicians Do:

• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate diagnostic skills
• Inspect, repair, and diagnose systems such as brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems
• Engage in formal training to stay updated on automotive technology
• Maintain standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping
• Perform manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license
• At least three years of automotive repair experience, including diagnosis and problem-solving
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Preferred: ASE A4 and A5 Certifications, state inspection licenses, or MAC certification

Additional Considerations:

• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays
• Proficiency with technology and diagnostic tools
• Ability to make recommendations based on manufacturing guidelines
