A day-in-the-life of a Technician C:

Technicians complete routine scheduled maintenance service on automobiles and trucks, as directed by a Manager or Service Advisor. They perform basic automotive repairs, adjustments, and maintenance procedures, including but not limited to oil changes, tire replacement & repairs, and general vehicle maintenance.

In this role, a Technician C will also have the opportunity to:

• Perform automotive repairs, adjustments, and maintenance procedures as outlined on repair orders
• Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advanced repair, and maintenance services
• Drive vehicles into the service bay, prepare them for and complete digital vehicle inspections
• Test drive vehicles and prepare them for delivery to customers after repairs and maintenance
• Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive customer experience

Starting pay rates are at least $42,000 annually, with potential bonuses based on productivity and performance. In addition, Technicians are eligible for incentives such as annual bonuses, certification bonuses, and flat rate pay.

Work Environment:

• May experience loud noises and odors intermittently
• Requires standing, walking, and physical mobility, including lifting up to 80 pounds
• Must have own tools appropriate for the skill level
• Ability to work in hot environments without air conditioning

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma, GED, or technical certification
• Valid driver's license
• 2+ years of vehicle repair experience
• Knowledge of automotive systems and ability to perform repairs independently
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Exceptional customer service skills

Preferred:

• ASE Certifications (e.g., Suspension & Steering, Brakes, Auto Maintenance & Light Repair)
• State inspection certification
• AC 609 Certification

Work Environment Details:

• May involve exposure to loud noises and odors
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, reaching, lifting, and carrying parts up to 80 pounds
• Must have own tools for repair work
• Ability to work in hot conditions and on your feet for long periods
