The starting pay for this position is $20.04/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. As an Automotive Technician, Goodyear offers:

• ASE Reimbursement with Pay Increases (including brakes, electrical, AC and heating, engine performance, engine repair)

• Flat Rate role with a 75% guarantee (30 hours booked per week)

Responsibilities of an Automotive Technician at Goodyear:

• Troubleshoot problems and demonstrate strong diagnostic skills
• Inspect, repair, and diagnose systems such as brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, air conditioning, and coolant systems
• Continuously learn new technical information through formal training to stay updated on automotive technology
• Promote teamwork to ensure timely and accurate guest care
• Maintain standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping, using protective equipment when necessary
• Perform manual tasks including lifting, standing, bending, and squatting

Basic Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver's license
• At least three years of automotive repair experience, including diagnosis and problem-solving
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Preferred: Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications in Steering and Suspension (A4) and Brakes (A5), state inspection licenses, or MAC certification
