Job summary
Auto Plus is seeking a skilled Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair tire and automotive services while delivering an excellent customer experience. You will explain technical diagnoses to customers and coworkers and stay updated with evolving automotive technology.
Leadership in mentoring teammates and maintaining a clean, safe shop is expected. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 1 year of automotive diagnostic, problem-solving and repair experience.
- 2+ ASE certifications preferred (A4, A5).
- 609 certification preferred.
- State Inspection license if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, electrical, cooling, suspension and alignment systems.
- Perform maintenance services and assist other technicians as needed.
- Clearly explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers or non-mechanics.
- Continuously learn new automotive technologies in formal training sessions.
- Maintain an organized, safe, and clean shop; follow company policies.
