Job summary

Jerry’s Auto Group is opening a new Jerry’s Sales, Service & Collector Cars location in Sioux Falls, SD. We’re seeking an experienced B or C Level Automotive Technician to join our growing service team and handle maintenance, diagnostics and a variety of repairs.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive maintenance or repair experience preferred.
• B or C Level Technician experience preferred
• Experience with brakes, steering, suspension, maintenance and general mechanical repairs.
• Electrical and diagnostic experience is a plus but not required at an advanced level.
• ASE Certifications are a plus
• Willingness to learn and continue advancing your skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, vehicle inspections and general automotive repairs.
• Diagnose and repair brake, steering, suspension and basic electrical systems
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, batteries, filters and other preventative maintenance.
• Complete brake repairs, alignments and other light to intermediate mechanical repairs.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
• Identify needed repairs and communicate recommendations with Service Advisors and management.
• Use diagnostic equipment and shop tools safely and properly.
• Work alongside experienced technicians on more advanced repairs and diagnostics as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Participate in training and continue developing your technical skills.
