Job summary

Jerry's Chevrolet & Corvette Center in Beresford, SD is seeking an Automotive Technician. We welcome all skill levels; an A or B Level Technician is preferred, with strong diagnostic abilities and a commitment to quality.

GM experience and ASE certifications are a plus, and candidates must have a valid driver’s license. Join our family-owned dealership and contribute to inspections, diagnostics, and repairs across engine, electrical, steering, suspension, transmission, brakes, and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive repair preferred.
• A or B Level Technician experience strongly preferred.
• GM experience is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems.
• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs according to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Communicate repair recommendations with Service Advisors and management.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Stay current on manufacturer training and industry advancements.
• Assist with mentoring and training less experienced technicians when applicable.

Jerry's Chevrolet & Corvette Center is growing, and we're looking for an Automotive Technician to join our team in Beresford, South Dakota.

We are seeking an experienced A or B Level Technician, but we are willing to consider technicians of all skill levels who are motivated, dependable, and eager to learn. What You'll Do

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.


• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems.
