Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO), part of Bridgestone Americas, is hiring Automotive Technicians in Radcliff, KY. The role involves learning diagnostics, repair, and regular maintenance with ASE certification opportunities.

A $1,000 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires, with a flat-rate pay model and regional earning potential. Pay ranges from $15.75 to $23.67 per hour; flex schedules, full benefits, and opportunities for growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, Basic inspections, Repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or related training preferred.
• ASE certification or equivalent qualifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years of employment; tests/fees may be covered by the company and bonuses awarded for each test passed.
