Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Owensboro, KY is seeking an Automotive Technician to learn and develop skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under guidance. You will assist with routine inspections, customer communications, and delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.

The role includes a $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid ASE certification opportunities, and a pay range of $15.75–$23.67 per hour with performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road-test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications (eligible within first two years; company covers tests/fees).
