Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles within our service team. The role emphasizes hands-on learning, customer communication, and delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include oil changes, inspections, tire service, battery installation and road testing. Sign-on bonus of $1,500 for first-time hires reflects our commitment to attracting skilled technicians.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance including oil changes and tire repair.
• Reading, writing and math skills are required.
• Preferred: 2 years of automotive repair experience or vocational-technical training; ASE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles and ensure safety and quality.
