Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced team environment. You will learn under experienced techs and may interact with customers to explain repairs and provide quality service.

We offer a flat-rate pay system with a $1,500 sign-on for first-time hires, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to pursue ASE certifications. Valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification or equivalent preferred.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Reading, writing and math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension and braking systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts as needed.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; tests are paid for by the company.
