Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles in a fast-paced store environment. Under guidance from senior techs, you will learn essential automotive service tasks and interact with customers to explain repairs and services.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• Preferred: 2 years of automotive repair experience or vocational-technical training; ASE certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years (fees paid) and receive related bonuses.
