Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in New Jersey is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will learn and perform diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks on vehicles under guidance from experienced technicians, and interact with customers to explain repairs and ensure quality workmanship.

You\'ll build foundational automotive repair skills, achieve ASE certifications, and contribute to a fast-paced, customer‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license at all times.
• Basic mechanical skills with tire maintenance experience.
• Ability to learn and apply repair procedures quickly.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brakes.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and repair tasks.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications within two years; fees are covered; bonuses for tests passed.
