Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will learn and perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles under supervision, while delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

You will participate in inspections, interact with customers to explain repairs, and aim for ASE certifications within two years. A strong mechanical aptitude and customer service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including oil changes, basic inspections, and tire repairs.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company pays tests/fees.
