Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with hands-on learning under skilled mentors. You will engage in routine inspections, assist in repairs, and communicate with customers about repair procedures. This entry-level path includes potential ASE certification support and regional training opportunities.

Pay range reflects regional rates, with a flat-rate pay model rewarding efficiency and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

  • Must have basic automotive maintenance skills and a valid driver's license.
  • Familiar with oil changes, inspections, tire repairs, and basic repairs.
  • Strong reading, writing and math skills for job tasks and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
  • Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance.
  • Install parts.
  • Road test vehicles.
  • Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years.
