Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles within our service team. You will learn hands-on under senior technicians, perform routine inspections, and explain repairs to customers while delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers flat-rate pay with a regional variation, and opportunities to pursue ASE certifications with company support.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes
• Basic inspections
• Repairing tires
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years automotive repair experience preferred
• A.S.E certification or equivalent external certifications or training preferred

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications within first two years of employment; tests/fees paid by company; bonus for tests passed.
