Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) seeks an Automotive Technician to join our service team. You will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under guidance, performing inspections, tire work, and customer communications to ensure quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes foundational skills, safety, and delivering high-quality service. Candidates should have basic mechanical aptitude, a valid driver’s license, and the goal of obtaining ASE certification

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance including oil changes, inspections, and tire repair.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
• 2 years of automotive repair experience or completion of a Vocational-Technical School program preferred.
• ASE certification or equivalent training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years of employment.
