Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Columbia, SC is seeking an Automotive Technician to learn diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under experienced staff. You will assist with inspections, interact with customers to explain repairs, and deliver high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting.

The role features a flat-rate pay model, a pay range of $15.75–$23.67 per hour, and company-wide commitment to fair pay.

Qualifications

• Must have a basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services.
• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and work with guidance.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Perform inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
