Job summary

Carvana is seeking an Automotive Technician to join a fast-paced, high-volume service team. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, from routine maintenance to complex engine and electrical work, ensuring safety and quality for customers.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a supportive team, ongoing training, and a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency in a dealership environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or reputable independent shop.
• Foundational knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, brakes, and tires.
• ASE certifications are highly preferred; OEM training and certifications are a plus.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues.
• Expertise in using diagnostic software and specialized tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems using diagnostic tools and manuals.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and factory recalls.
• Document services and communicate findings clearly to the Service Advisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with technicians, parts team members, and service advisors.
• Pursue continuous learning and share knowledge with others.
