Job summary

Cornerstone Kia, located in Elk River, MN, is offering an opportunity for Military Veterans to join their Automotive Service Technician program. This role is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), providing Veterans hands-on experience in a full-time position while they train for Kia Service Technician certification. Candidates will develop necessary skills to maintain and repair Kia vehicles utilizing dealership standards and processes. Eligible individuals may also benefit from GI Bill® support during their apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles, including all major systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation according to policies.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
