Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Minnesota, Woodbury, is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles within our Bridgestone Retail Operations.

The role involves hands-on learning under experienced technicians, explaining repair procedures to customers, and delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. We offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hires, a flat-rate pay model, and opportunities to obtain ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Must learn basic mechanical tasks and procedures.
• Must have a valid automobile driver’s license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles.

Skills

Basic mechanical tasks

Education

Vocational-Technical School program in a related field
