Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) in Minnesota is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision of experienced techs. You will perform inspections, address various automotive systems, and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a flat-rate pay model with hourly pay ranging from $19.25 to $28.93.

Qualifications

• Must learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive.
• Basic automotive maintenance and tire repair knowledge (oil changes, basic inspections, tire repair).
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years; company pays test fees and provides bonuses for each passed.
