Job Title: Experienced Automotive Technician

Reports To: Shop Foreman

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong diagnostic background, proficiency with complex repairs, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This position plays a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostic procedures using scan tools and manufacturer-specific equipment
• Complete complex mechanical and electrical repairs on a wide range of makes and models
• Accurately diagnose drivability issues, engine performance problems, and electrical faults
• Conduct routine maintenance services (brakes, alignments, suspension work, etc.)
• Work closely with service advisors to communicate repair needs and timelines
• Test drive vehicles to confirm diagnoses and verify completed repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Mentor and support junior technicians as needed
• Stay current on technical bulletins, recalls, and training
• Ensure all work meets dealership and manufacturer standards
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience
• ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain)
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, shop management systems, and repair software
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable standing, bending, and working in various positions throughout the shift
• Capable of working in both shop and outdoor environments
