Job Description

The Automotive Technician reports to the Store and Service Managers and is responsible for performing basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspecting vehicles for potential problems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge.
2. Provide high-quality service to customers.
3. Perform skilled mechanical work, analyze, and diagnose problems.
4. Inspect, replace, or repair defective parts; perform preventive maintenance.
5. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques.
6. Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the company's values in interactions.
7. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety standards.
8. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of automotive service, mechanic, or engine diagnostic experience.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Must have Technician Tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicles.
• Ability to pass drug test and background check.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service skills and a desire to build trust.
• Willing to work Saturdays.
