Job Summary

We are looking for a GM Certified Service Technician with Transmission experience to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a strong GM technician background and ASE certification. The day-to-day duties include performing work on specific repair orders and diagnosing necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

1. Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards.
2. Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
4. Communicate with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed and provide repair estimates.
5. Execute warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, ASE Certification required.
• Strong diagnostic, electrical, and engine repair skills.
• Dexterity and steady hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills and basic computer competencies.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
