Job Description

As a BMW Technician at BMW of Tuscaloosa, you will be responsible for performing diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance on both customer and dealership vehicles using cutting-edge diagnostic technologies. You will work with a highly skilled team to ensure top-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

1. Receive and execute repair orders as dispatched.
2. Perform diagnostic services and troubleshoot to determine repair needs accurately.
3. Provide labor, time, and parts estimates for repairs.
4. Perform high-quality repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning, following BMW standards.
5. Conduct Quality Control checks to ensure repairs meet high standards.
6. Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation for repair services.
7. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, and ensure accountability for tools.
8. Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and Parts Department staff to ensure smooth workflow.
9. Participate in continuous BMW training to stay updated on technologies and processes.
10. Demonstrate behaviors aligned with company values in all interactions.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Strong mechanical, electrical, and computing skills.
3. At least 5+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience or equivalent.
4. Previous European automotive technician experience is a plus.
5. ASE certifications are a plus.
6. Must be authorized to work in the USA.
7. Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including background and MVR checks.
8. Valid driver's license required.
