Job Description

About the Role: The Technician is a full-time or part-time hourly position responsible for vehicle diagnostics, routine repairs, and maintenance, delivering excellent customer service and meeting quality and time expectations.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify necessary repairs.
2. Complete Courtesy Inspections, document and communicate additional services needed.
3. Assist in inventory and store maintenance tasks.
4. Perform services following safety standards, including test drives and compliance procedures.
5. Maintain technical knowledge through training.
6. Operate and maintain equipment safely.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or experience in basic maintenance and repair.
• Preferred ASE certification and State Inspection license.
• Valid driver’s license with a good Motor Vehicle Report.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Work in an automotive shop environment with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and physical activity including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and reaching.
