Job Description

About the Role: This full-time or part-time hourly position involves vehicle diagnostics and routine repairs, delivering exceptional customer service by effectively communicating issues and solutions, and meeting quality and time expectations.

Salary Range: $23.00 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience. Additional incentives may apply.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic vehicle diagnostics and identify repairs.
2. Complete courtesy inspections on every guest vehicle, documenting and communicating additional services needed.
3. Assist in inventory management and store duties, maintaining cleanliness and readiness.
4. Follow safety standards during all services, including proper use of equipment and test drives.
5. Maintain technical knowledge through training and certifications.
6. Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic automotive training or experience; ASE certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a good Motor Vehicle Report.
• Own basic tools or participate in Monro’s tool purchase program.

Physical & Work Environment:

Work in an automotive shop environment with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and physical activity, including lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, and reaching.
