Position Summary

$1500 Sign‑on Bonus now available. This Automotive Technician position is focused on learning and performing foundational automotive repair tasks under the guidance of experienced technicians. Responsibilities include routine inspections, handling battery and electrical systems, performing tire maintenance, installing parts, and conducting road tests. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to high‑quality service in a fast‑paced environment. Pay Range: $18.38 – $27.62 per hour, with a flat‑rate compensation model that rewards task‑based performance.

Responsibilities
  • Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance services.
  • Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  • Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  • Perform tire maintenance.
  • Install parts.
  • Road‑test vehicles.
  • Obtain or maintain an A.S.E. certification in at least one of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment (company pays test fees and provides a bonus for tests passed).
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  • Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to operate customer and company vehicles.
  • Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including oil changes, basic inspections, and tire repairs.
  • Reading, writing, and math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least two years of automotive repair experience, completion of a vocational‑technical school program in a related field, or demonstrated skills via third‑party certificates or assessments.
  • A.S.E. certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
