Compensation: $18.00/hour or $30.00/hour flat rate based on experience.

Job Description
About the Role:

The Technician role is full-time or part-time, hourly, based on business needs. Responsibilities include vehicle diagnostics, routine repairs, and maintenance, delivering exceptional customer service, and communicating vehicle issues effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs.
  • Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, documenting and communicating additional needed services.
  • Assist in inventory management, including pulling and stocking tires and parts.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and ensure guest readiness.
  • Perform services adhering to safety standards, including wheel torque and oil safety procedures.
  • Test drive vehicles following company policy, maintaining safety laws.
  • Follow company policies and legal standards, using safety equipment and protocols.
  • Maintain technical knowledge through training and courses.
  • Operate and maintain equipment safely per guidelines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Profile Summary:
  • Basic automotive maintenance, repair, and tire services skills.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and identify root causes.
  • Ability to interpret instructions in various formats.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

Work in an automotive shop environment with exposure to noise, weather, chemicals, and dust. Must be able to work flexible hours, lift up to 75 lbs, and perform physical activities like standing, walking, and reaching.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Automotive training or experience.
  • ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Own basic tools or participate in company’s tool purchase program.
