Job Description

As an Automotive Technician at Monro, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining guest vehicles. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one to prepare for your role, working as part of a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

Compensation

The hourly pay range is $15 - $17 per hour guaranteed and $25 - $28 flat rate based on experience. Additional incentives and compensation are available.

Responsibilities

• Perform brakes, suspension, tire installation, scheduled maintenance, and other automotive repairs within your qualifications
• Obtain guest approval for work after diagnosis and maintain a clean work area
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and perform necessary repairs and maintenance
• Test drive vehicles and assist with inventory pickup using shop tools
• Collaborate and lead General Service Technicians as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of automotive technician experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Own basic automotive tools or participate in tool purchase program
• Ability to work with hands overhead, stand long periods, lift 50 lbs
• Guest and team-focused mindset
• Maintain applicable Automotive Technician State Inspector’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE certification (A1-A8)
• Automotive Technician State Inspector License
• Automotive technical school degree/certificate
