Job summary

Sullivan Tire And Auto Service is hiring an Automotive Technician in Leominster, MA. The technician will independently repair and service customer vehicles, focusing on quality and satisfaction.

Requirements include 1 year of experience with 1–3 ASE certifications and a valid driver’s license. Must be physically capable of lifting 40–50 lbs and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A technical degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with 1–3 ASE certifications.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Mount, dismount, balance tires and perform tire repairs.
• Perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Document vehicle safety inspections performed.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles including maintenance and brakes, steering, suspension, etc.
• Produce repair estimates for customer vehicles.
• Collaborate with store management to meet productivity and customer satisfaction targets.
• Maintain safety and environmental standards and keep a clean work area.
• Explain repairs to customers in understandable terms.

Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, currently has an opportunity for an Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician independently performs vehicle repairs and services on customer’s vehicles while delivering the highest quality and customer satisfaction.

Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, currently has an opportunity for an Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician independently performs vehicle repairs and services on customer’s vehicles while delivering the highest quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Correctly mounts, dismounts, balancing, and repair of passenger and light truck tires.
• Properly perform lube/oil/filter changes on domestic and foreign cars.
• Properly perform and document vehicle safety inspections.
• Perform unsupervised diagnosis and repairs of vehicles including, but not limited to, maintenance, brake, steering, suspension, heating and cooling systems, alignment, and light tune-ups utilizing automotive tools, equipment, and software (i.e., VAST, Automotive PC programs).
• Produce accurate repair estimates on customer vehicles.
• Work with store management to ensure productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction standards are met.
• Properly adhere to safety and environmental standards, including maintaining a neat and clean work area by properly disposing of all waste products.
• Communicate with customers and sales staff in understandable terms about the repairs needed to the vehicle and the value of the repairs.
• Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assume other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A technical degree is a plus!
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with 1-3 ASE certifications.
• A valid Driver’s License is required.
