Position Summary

The Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, you will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. Responsibilities include routine inspections, vehicle assessments, and customer interactions. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work, providing a foundation for a career in automotive repair.

Pay Range: $16.15 - $24.23

Responsibilities

  1. Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
  2. Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
  3. Install batteries and check electrical systems.
  4. Perform tire maintenance.
  5. Install parts.
  6. Road test vehicles.
  7. Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications in at least one of A1 – A8 within the first two years (company pays for tests and registration; bonuses are provided for passed tests).

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
  2. Valid automobile driver’s license at all times.
  3. Basic understanding of automotive maintenance and tire repair services.
  4. Reading, writing, and math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 2 years of automotive repair experience or completion of vocational-technical training.
  2. A.S.E. certification or equivalent qualifications.
