Position Summary

The Automotive Technician plays a vital role in our automotive service team. Under guidance, you will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, perform routine inspections, and assist in vehicle assessments and repairs. Customer interaction to explain procedures and answer questions is also part of the role. The position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality in a fast-paced environment. It’s a valuable opportunity to develop foundational automotive repair skills.

Pay Range

$16.15 - $24.23

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts and road test vehicles.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within two years, with company-paid tests and bonuses for each passed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid driver’s license at all times.
• Basic understanding of automotive maintenance, including oil changes, inspections, and tire repairs.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of automotive repair experience or vocational training.
• A.S.E. certification or equivalent.
