Group 1 Automotive is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians to join our dealer network. You will perform high-quality repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance in a professional shop environment with access to OEM training and modern facilities.

The role offers steady work, competitive flat-rate earnings, and clear paths for long-term career growth. ASE certification is strongly preferred, with additional manufacturer certifications a plus, and a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience performing complex repairs and diagnostics (dealership experience preferred).
• ASE certification(s) in different specialized areas strongly preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, troubleshooting, and testing on automotive systems
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles to verify successful repairs
• Adhereto all company safety policies and procedures
• Providetimelyupdates to service advisors on repair status and estimated completion times for customer communication.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with evolving automotive technology
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of automotive technician experience performing complex repairs and diagnostics, (dealership experience preferred)
• National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) in different specialized areas such as brakes, electrical/electronic systems or engine performance strongly preferred
• Manufacturer certifications are a bonus!
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver license in the state that you will work anda good drivingrecord
• Excellent customer service skills
• Professional appearance and work ethic
• Mustpass backgroundcheck,MVR, and drug screening
