CarShop Glen Mills is seeking experienced Automotive Technicians who consistently diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic and import vehicles. Enjoy strong workflow, supportive parts department, multiple bays, and modern equipment.

This position offers earnings of $80,000–$100,000+ per year, plus quarterly incentives and a sign-on bonus up to $7,000. You’ll work in an air‑conditioned shop with comprehensive benefits and career growth within CarShop and Penske Automotive Group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience; 5+ years preferred
• State and Emissions License preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting across multiple makes/models
• Proven track record of high productivity and meeting goals
• Ability to produce strong hours with quality

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, and A/C systems
• Work on domestic and import makes and models, not only warranty repairs
• Follow repair orders accurately as per standards
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, testing, and diagnostics
• Provide accurate labor estimates and keep work area clean
• Road test vehicles as needed

What will you do?

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, and air conditioning
• Work confidently on a wide variety of domestic and import makes and models not just warranty repairs
• Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealer and manufacturer standards
• Complete advanced automotive troubleshooting, testing, and diagnostics
• Identify practical and cost-effective solutions to complex repair issues
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs clearly to Service Advisors and customers
• Provide accurate labor and time estimates for additional repairs
• Ensure repairs are completed accurately and vehicles are kept clean
• Road test vehicles as needed to ensure a quality repair the first time
• Maintain a clean, organized, and productive shop environment

What skills do you bring to the role?

• 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience required; 5+ years strongly preferred for experienced-level opportunities
• State and Emissions License preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability across multiple makes and models
• Proven track record of high productivity and consistently achieving or exceeding performance goals
• Ability to produce strong hours while maintaining a high standard of quality
• Working knowledge of diagnostic tools, alignment systems, wheel and tire equipment, and A/C equipment
• Strong work ethic with a reputation for being reliable and dependable
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Team-oriented, flexible, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Takes pride in producing quality work the first time
