Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Center in Cleveland, OH is hiring an Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic – ASE Certified. Join our team with guaranteed weekly hours and competitive pay between $20.00 and $45.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications; ASE certification or significant hands-on shop experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications OR 5+ years of automotive technician experience in a professional shop.
• Missouri State Inspector License OR ability to obtain one.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience with tire installation, wheel balancing, steering, suspension, and automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• They perform wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, vehicle inspections, steering and suspension work, oil changes, tune-ups, and general automotive maintenance.
• Use diagnostic tools and shop equipment to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and engine repair issues.
• Team members maintain accurate service documentation for completed work.
• Team members work collaboratively with the team to keep the shop operating efficiently and safely.
• They provide professional customer service when explaining repair recommendations to customers.

What Our Technicians Do

What We Need
