Job summary

Jenkins Car Care in Cedar Hill, TN, is seeking an experienced automotive technician to join our independently owned shop. You will diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of makes and models, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of proven experience as an automotive technician.
• Ase certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain them).
• Strong diagnostic skills across electrical, engine, drivetrain, brakes, suspension, HVAC.
• Own tools; shop provides specialty/diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in doing the job right the first time.
• Team player in a fast-paced, high-standards shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across a wide range of makes and models.
• Complete repair orders efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors on findings, recommendations, and job status.
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and document findings with photos/notes.
• Keep your bay organized and equipment well maintained.
• Stay current on training and certifications (ATI coaching and ongoing manufacturer/ASE training supported).

We're not a franchise and we're not a chain - we're a locally owned shop built on honest diagnostics, quality repairs, and taking care of our customers like neighbors, because they are.
