Job summary

Quirk Auto Dealers in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Technician for our busy Service Department. This in-person role offers a stable career path with compensation based on experience.

You will diagnose vehicle components, test-drive for verification, and communicate repair estimates to the Service Advisor, while staying current with bulletins, recalls, and new technology to deliver quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience using diagnostic equipment and testing automotive systems.
• Ability to test-drive vehicles for diagnosis and verification of repairs.
• Familiarity with diagnosing engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering and electrical systems.
• Ability to provide Service Advisor with repair estimates.
• Stays current with technical bulletins, recalls, service procedures and new technology.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment and tools to test vehicle components.
• Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs.
• Diagnose automotive systems including engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, electrical, A/C.
• Provide the Service Advisor with estimates for additional repairs.
