Job summary

Group 1 Automotive in Norwood, MA seeks Automotive Technicians to diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles using high- tech equipment. You will work with service advisors to provide accurate status updates and ensure quality service in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Candidates with strong mechanical or electrical backgrounds, a technical school credential, and optional ASE certification are encouraged. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive repair preferred, including electrical or mechanical work.

• Strong mechanical or electrical background.
• Experience in automotive, electrical or aircraft repair. (highly preferred)

Qualifications:

• Efficient and accurate work in accordance with dealership’s and factory standards
• Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing
• Maintain an organized shop area
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality work
• Comply with company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate directly with service advisors regarding the status of the service work
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques
• Adhere to Group 1 Automotive values: Transparency, Professionalism and Teamwork

Compensation: $20.00 to $75.00 hourly based on experience level
