Job summary

V2X in Troy, MI is seeking an Automotive Technical Training Developer & Instructor to bridge vehicle engineering and service applications. You will collaborate with SMEs to research, develop, and validate advanced training courses for dealership technicians, covering modern vehicle systems, with occasional domestic and international travel.

You will design instructor-led materials, video assets, hands-on lab exercises, and validate course quality to ensure timely deployment to the dealer

Qualifications

Minimum five years automotive technician experience.
Proficient with automotive service information and diagnostic support software.
Experience with highly technical diagnostic equipment (scan tools, lab scopes, DVOM, HVAC, vibration diagnostics).
Adaptability to changing environments.
Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork.
Strong MS Office, internet and email proficiency.

Responsibilities

Course Development: research and design comprehensive technical training for various automotive vehicle systems, including instructor-led materials, video assets and hands-on labs.
Instructional Delivery: facilitate in-person, virtual and video training sessions for service technicians, demonstrating advanced diagnostic procedures and repair techniques.
Validation & Quality Control: perform rigorous testing of training courses to ensure technical accuracy and instructional flow before deployment.
