Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technical Training Developer & Instructor based in Troy, MI. This role bridges vehicle engineering with practical service applications, collaborating with SMEs to create advanced training courses for dealership technicians. Intermittent travel may be required.

You will develop and validate curricula, deliver instructor‑led training, and ensure content accuracy and effectiveness across formats. A strong background in automotive tech and teaching is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum of five‑years automotive technician experience.
Proficient with automotive service information and diagnostic software.
Experience with highly technical diagnostic equipment (scan tools, lab scopes, DVOMs, HVAC, vibration tools).
Able to adapt to changing environments and workflows.
Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork; proficient with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

Course Development: research and design comprehensive technical training with instructor materials and lab exercises.
Instructional Delivery: facilitate in‑person, virtual, and video training for service technicians.
Validation & Quality Control: test training courses for accuracy, timing, and instructional flow.
