Job summary

Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc. invites a passionate Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert in automotive systems and emerging vehicle technologies, translating complex concepts into high-impact dealer training.

You will research, design, develop, deliver and evaluate technical courses, coordinating with regional teams to align objectives and content. Travel to regional training centers, deliver instructor-led and online training, author materials, and assist ASE workshops.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Engineering, Vocational Education Instructional Design (adult learning), or equivalent work experience in automotive training operations.
• Strong automotive diagnostic skills.
• Strong technical writing, editing and content development skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Strong presentation, facilitation and public speaking skills.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
• Added bonus: ASE Master technician certification, Toyota/Lexus dealer experience, and experience with eLearning tools.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, deliver and evaluate automotive technical training courses.
• Coordinate with regional teams to align training content and objectives.
• Develop instructor guides, storyboards, presentations, and assessments.
• Deliver and evaluate training at regional centers and via train-the-trainer events.
• Assist ASE test-writing workshops and conduct industry培训 presentations.
