Job summary

Houston Distributing Company, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an Automotive Tech (Part-Time) to support the upkeep and maintenance of the fleet under the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, good communication, and solid time management to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Primary duties include following procedures, keeping a neat work area, and reporting absences or accidents in line with OSHA standards; some additional projects may be assigned.

• Complies with OSHA, utilizing required safety equipment.
• Responsible for remaining knowledgeable in current mechanical trends relating to the repair of automotive engine and automotive related repairs.
• Maintains personal hand tools.

General Summary:

Reports directly to the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor. Primarily responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of HDC’s fleet.
