Job summary

Cardinal Staffing Services seeks a Supervisor/Team Lead for the Toledo area. You will oversee sorting, inspection, and rework within an automotive manufacturing facility, lead teams, ensure safety, and coordinate shift starts across locations.

Flexibility to cover 1st–3rd shifts and weekends may be required. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing, forklift certification or experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience is required with automotive manufacturing exposure.
• Forklift certification or experience is required.
• Ability to stand, lift up to 35 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sorting, inspection, and rework tasks across multiple tables or workstations.
• Lead teams and ensure safe operations following health and safety policies.
• Coordinate shift start activities and ensure proper paperwork and tools are ready.
• Train new workers on procedures and performance expectations.
• Monitor attendance, accountability, and performance for assigned personnel.
• Communicate with supervisors and managers about issues and policy violations.
