Spec on the Job is seeking a Supervisor/Team Lead to oversee multiple sorting, inspection, and rework tasks within an automotive manufacturing facility in Michigan. The role requires quality inspecting experience in a supervisory capacity, with a starting pay of $24/hour and a Monday–Friday schedule from 6am to 4pm.

Responsibilities include overseeing containment, coordinating shift start activities, ensuring safety compliance, auditing time sheets, and training new team members.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Prior experience in an automotive related manufacturing facility preferred.
• 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift to 35 lbs, and work in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Ability to communicate procedures clearly and instruct others.

Responsabilités

• Oversee sorting, inspection, and rework operations for assigned tables/workstations.
• Lead containment processes and manage laborers and product inspection.
• Coordinate shift start activities (tables, paperwork) and ensure end-of-shift audits.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and report incidents immediately.
• Provide on-the-job training for new work instructions when applicable.
• Maintain tools and materials readiness for all jobs.

We are currently seeking a Supervisor/Team Lead. Supervisor/Team Leads are responsible for overseeing multiple sorting, inspection, and rework jobs within an automotive manufacturing facility. They must have quality inspecting experience in a Supervisor role.Monday through Friday 6am-4pmStarting pay $24/hrThe key responsibilities of the Supervisor/Team Lead include, but are not limited to, the following:• Oversee the containment process, responsible for the laborers and the inspection of customer products for the assigned tables or workstations• Must lead by example, be organized, and practice good housekeeping skills in all areas of the facility• Ensure all employees work safely and in accordance with company health and safety policies and procedures• Report any accidents or incidents that occur within the facility immediately to a supervisor• Responsible for the coordination of shift start activities prior to start time (table requirements, paperwork, etc.)• Ensure end of shift activities are completed such as auditing of paperwork and time sheets along with any necessary communication to the next shift Team Lead• Ensure appropriate tools and materials are available for completion of jobs• Provide on-the-job training for any new work instructions when applicable• Must be accountable for all personnel assigned to specific jobs• Provide input to Supervisor or Manager regarding performance• Report any policy or procedure violations to Supervisor or Manager• Participate, support, and comply with all health and safety initiatives and requirementsMinimum Requirements:• High School diploma or equivalent, Associates degree or higher preferred• Ability to work different shifts, overtime, or weekends if needed• Prior experience in an automotive related manufacturing facility preferred• 3 years of supervisory experience preferred• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift to 35lbs, and work within a manufacturing environment• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred• Basic math skills required• Ability to follow instructions and follow through with assigned tasks• Ability to communicate procedures and instruct others in a clear and precise manner#SPEC123#63872027
